Job summary

Prologis in Vancouver, BC is seeking a VP of Development Management to lead land and building development activities for industrial and logistics projects across Western Canada. Based in the Vancouver office, you will oversee development teams, ensure safe, compliant, on-time delivery, and collaborate with global development teams and internal partners.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, entitlements, and strategic planning while coordinating with Leasing, Asset Management, and Construction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in real estate development, civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Experience leading speculative and build-to-suit industrial/logistics developments across Western Canada.
• Working knowledge of Vancouver Building By-law, BC Building Code and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of speculative and build-to-suit developments from pursuit through approvals, design, permitting, construction, occupancy and tenant improvements across Western Canada.
• Direct redevelopment and tenant-improvement strategies for assets, partnering with Leasing, Asset Management, Construction and external consultants.
• Provide strategic recommendations on site planning, building configuration, infrastructure, and development feasibility.
• Lead development budgeting, forecasting, project underwriting, and business planning to align with financial objectives.
• Develop and oversee permitting strategies to support project schedules and manage approval risk.
• Manage environmental, geotechnical, and off-site improvements considerations during development.
• Oversee bidding, contracting, change management, and project closeout in line with Canadian industry requirements.
