Job summary

ICON Visual Communications Inc. in Markham, Ontario seeks a VFX Project Manager to oversee production and installation of static graphics and signage. You will coordinate with sales, customer service, and installers to define scope, collect measurements and photos, and establish project schedules.

You will manage timelines, vendor relationships, and onsite installations, acting as the client liaison. Some overnight installations may be required, and strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and customer service in the Markham office.
• Meet with clients and installers to review projects, collect measurements and photos, and create summaries for cost estimates.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• After approval, coordinate with sales, customer service, installation teams, and client to set installation/completion dates and a workback schedule.
• Liaise with ICON logistics and installation teams to organize delivery and installation.
• Onsite supervision of installations, coordinating communication between client and install teams; occasional overnight installations.
• Maintain client relationships and relevant stakeholder communication; collaborate with Procurement and vendors.
• Coordinate third parties/vendors for multi-project execution and monitor progress.
• Develop detailed project plans and manage scope changes; report/escalate to management as needed.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential issues and ensure requirements are met.

ICON is seeking an experienced *Project Manager* to oversee the production and installation of static graphic and signage installations. *Role and Responsibilities*

• * Work with our sales and customer service staff in the Markham office
• * Meet with clients and installers to review new potential projects, collect measurements and photographs, create project summaries for sales staff to use for cost estimate purposes
• * Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• * Once new projects are approved, work with ICON sales, customer service and installation groups, as well as the client to establish project installation/completion dates, workback schedule
• * Liaise directly with ICON logistics, internal and external installation teams to organize delivery and installation of projects
• * Onsite supervision for all installations, serving as a communication conduit between the client and the install team(s) and possibly coordinating multiple install teams at same site
• * Be available to project manage overnight installations on occasion
• * Maintain the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
• * Partner with the Procurement team and third-party vendors to coordinate purchasing activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure business requirements are met efficiently and on time

*Additional Responsibilities*

• * Work with third parties/vendors when required for the execution of multiple projects
• * Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• * Help manage changes to the project scope
• * Report and escalation to management as needed
• * Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
• * Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• * Create and maintain comprehensive project plans for larger projects
• * Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients, as well as other staff members
• * Use and continually develop leadership skills
• * Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven work experience in project management (3 ? 5 years preferred), with focus on delivery and precision
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, including written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with project management software tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance
• Knowledge in the field of printing/graphics/signage is a plus
