Northgate Industries Ltd is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and agile Project Manager to join our highly motivated operations team. The successful candidate will serve as Project Manager in our Acheson, Alberta office. This role is vital for the manufacturing and installation of modular designs across Canada. Responsibilities include coordinating all project aspects between sales, design, estimating, manufacturing, and installation, acting as a key interface between departments to ensure project completion to potential. The position reports to the Vice President of Operations.

• Work closely with the project team to ensure successful execution and completion.
• Initiate and coordinate kickoff meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Complete project setup, track documentation and payments, and manage change orders.
• Attend meetings, record minutes, and update clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and electronic files.
• Define Statements of Work (SOW) related to change orders and WIP.
• Assess cost and schedule impacts before review with VP of Operations.
• Manage project document control, RFIs, shop drawings, and client submittals.
• Assist in managing and reporting on project scope, safety, costs, schedule, and quality.
• Prepare and track progress claims and estimates.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and adaptability to new systems.
• PMP or equivalent experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Construction trade certification or related management designation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Experience with Modular Structure Manufacturing is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience in an operational role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Effective communication with supervisors and sub-trades.
• Intermediate knowledge of construction specifications and procedures.
• Willingness to pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
