Lynn Valley Animal Hospital in North Vancouver, BC seeks a part-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our network of skilled veterinary professionals. We offer mentorship, training, and a local community feel within a large network.

Competitive compensation reflects skills and experience, RRSP match, paid CE, and flexible benefits. The role requires availability for two Saturdays per month and two late shifts weekly, with hours until 8:00 p.m.

Competenze

• Completion of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program, with eligibility for registration in the applicable province.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of patient care, anesthesia, pharmacology, and clinical procedures.
• Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and patient assessment.

Veterinary Technologist

Location: North Vancouver, BC

Employment Type: Part-time

Compensation: $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills

Schedule: This role requires availability for a minimum of two Saturdays per month (actual scheduling may vary) and at least two late shifts per week, with hours extending until 8:00 p.m.

• Completion of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program, with eligibility for registration in the applicable province.
• Experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of patient care, anesthesia, pharmacology, and clinical procedures.
• Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and patient assessment.
• Ability to safely handle and restrain animals using appropriate techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to animal care.
• Commitment to continuing education and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
