VCA Canada in North Vancouver is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT/VT) to join North Shore Animal Hospital's dedicated team. You will perform physical examinations, patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, radiology and lab procedures, and maintain meticulous medical records.

Qualifications

• New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply.
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery are part of the role.
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical preparation and assist during procedures, with patient recovery.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with radiology and venipuncture as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized patients and communicate with pet parents.

Compensation: $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills
