Job summary

Highlands Animal Hospital in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) or Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit, supportive team. Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

We value collaborative care, strong client relationships, and a passion for learning. New graduates are welcome as we grow together in a beautiful, serene community setting.

Qualifications

• New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply!
• Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
• Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to problem-solve or ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues and pet parents.
• Passion to learn more within the role.
