We are in search of a full-time Veterinary Tech Assistant to join our team! This position will be best suited for team players who enjoy working and caring for animals even when they are injured or sick.

Some duties of the job include the following:

• Assist with RVT's and DVM's in patient care.
• Lifting, carrying, and restraining animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 lbs.). Should be able to lift 40 lbs on own.
• Walking or standing for extended periods; frequently works in a bent or squatting position.
• Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect cages, kennels, exam, and treatment areas of the hospital.
