Field Service Technician - Specialty Rental - Acheson, Alberta, Canada

Your role

Your mission is, to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in oil Free air rental business in North America.

As Field Service Technician, you will report directly to the Customer Service Manager, and will have the following mission points:

  • You will maintain the fleet in the field
  • You will repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
  • You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
  • You will develop and optimize efficient processed and routines
  • You will improve measurable success to business targets
  • You will will document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software
  • You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
  • You have an appropriate Electromechanical degree or training
  • You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
  • You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
  • You have high energy levels
  • You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling

Job location

As a FST, you will be based in our store in Acheson, Alberta, Canada. You will travel to customer sites within this region. This position is hybrid as you will not always come into the store every day.
