Job description

Who we are:

At Home Veterinary Care is looking for an experienced full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. We are looking for an experienced technician who wants to join a hospital dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.

Top priority will be given to LVT or CVT candidates; although all candidates will be considered.

Our veterinary technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients. They also serve as major communicators for our hospital. Candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all team members.
