Apple Creek Animal Hospital in Markham, ON is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to support our hospital team. You will assist veterinary staff, greet pet parents, and help maintain a calm, clean, welcoming environment.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage (CAD 17.85–25.00) based on experience, with opportunities for growth, comprehensive benefits, and a friendly team dedicated to animal care.

• Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
• Create a warm and welcoming environment for pet parents
• Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for patients and adapt to changing situations
• General housekeeping duties; maintain cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
• Assist with updated medical office procedures and veterinary tasks as needed
• Support veterinary staff and maintain a professional, organized front desk
• Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset

• Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
