Wood is recruiting a Vessel Control Systems Operator to join its Operations team offshore Newfoundland and Labrador aboard the Terra Nova FPSO. This role focuses on safe operation of vessel control systems in demanding offshore environments.

You will work a 21 days on / 21 days off rotation, 12 hours per day, with site medical and drug and alcohol testing requirements. The position is unionized with rates following the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Wood is recruiting a Vessel Control Systems Operator (Control Room Operator) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on a regular rotation.

The Role

• Location: Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador
• Site / Office based: Terra Nova FPSO
• Hours of work: 12 hours per day
• Rotation / work pattern: 21 day on – 21 day off rotation
• Required: Site specific medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Unionized position: Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement

You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures.
