Job summary

Nortera in Ontario is hiring for a warehouse role supporting packaging lines and inventory management. You will organize and document inventory, operate forklifts, and collaborate with the operations team to deliver bulk product and restock as needed.

We offer an hourly wage with overtime after 40 hours, an annual bonus program, and a comprehensive benefits package including EFAP. Successful applicants will have an OSSD or equivalent, and be able to work shifts in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• OSSD or equivalent.
• Lift truck license with 1–2 years of RF inventory system experience.
• Ability to work in cold environments and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and document inventory using forklifts, pallets, cranes, and computer software.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment to mitigate hazards and maintain food safety.
• Work with operations to service packaging lines, deliver bulk product, pack, and restock as needed.
• Share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives.

Starting rate: $24.10/hour

Your Daily Role

• Organize and document inventory efficiently using the appropriate equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallets, cranes, computer software
• Maintain safe and clean work environment to mitigate hazards and maintain food safety
• Work as a team with the operations department to service the packaging lines-deliver bulk product, packaging, and store case product in the freezer; ensure adequate boxes and poly supply line for production-restock as needed to support
• Share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives

Your Profile

• OSSD or equivalent
• Lift truck license with 1-2 years of experience with an RF inventory system
• Ability to meet physical demands of working in the cold, material handling, working at heights, climbing stairs
• Ability to work shift work
• Ability to navigate changing priorities while maintaining a positive team environment
