Job summary

SYSTRA Canada Inc. seeks a V&V Lead for Transit Projects in Ontario to drive verification and validation across rail systems. You will develop strategies, plan activities and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety and performance.

The role requires 10+ years in V&V for rail/transit, P.Eng in Ontario or equivalent, and hands-on experience with planning, testing, and defect resolution. Hybrid workplace with collaboration across clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in verification & validation, testing and commissioning or assurance for rail / transit systems.
• Strong knowledge of V&V planning, test methods, evidence management and defect resolution.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders during system testing and acceptance.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent.
• Formal training in verification & validation and/or testing/commissioning (CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar) considered an asset.
