Job summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a Contract Evaluation Policy Analyst in Edmonton to support Vendor Performance Management and program analytics. You will develop training tools, maintain SharePoint sites, and provide records management and coordination services for infrastructure procurement projects.

Qualifications

• The ability to interpret complex information, legislation, and policies to create concise, accurate briefings, reports, and/or policy advice.
• Consultation, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Project management skills to manage multiple requests and workloads.
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online.
• Well-developed writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Providing information, analysis and advice using research methodologies and data reporting to identify and examine emerging issues and trends.
• Providing project management support by maintaining project management records, project plans, schedules and issue and risk logs.
• Maintaining project SharePoint sites and records management support including updating sites and coordinating with Technology and Innovation.
• Providing support through program communications including newsletters, presentations, training and communication materials to support awareness of the Vendor Performance Management Program.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of major public and stakeholder consultations.
