Destination Honda Burnaby is seeking a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-paced team. You will source vehicles from private sellers via Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, referrals, and other channels, and research models to fit our inventory needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Ability to qualify for a VSA licence or hold one.
• Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Punjabi language skills are an asset.

Responsabilités

• Source vehicles from private sellers through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, online classifieds, referrals, networking, and other channels
• Identify and research vehicles that may be suitable for dealership inventory
• Contact private sellers and build professional relationships
• Negotiate vehicle purchases and work toward mutually beneficial agreements
• Schedule appointments and coordinate vehicle inspections
• Follow up consistently with prospective sellers
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle makes, models, pricing, and market conditions
• Work closely with management throughout the acquisition process
• Consistently operate in a professional and ethical manner
