Job summary

Imperial Brady Canada, via its division Ralik, is seeking a Van Driver in Blainville, QC. The role focuses on delivering products safely, on time, and accurately to customers, with responsibility for loading/unloading and verifying orders at delivery.

Candidates should be bilingual (English/French) and possess a Class 5 license with driving experience. Training is provided for TDG/WHMIS, with emphasis on safety and paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and French communication required.

Ralik, a division of Imperial Brady Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Blainville, QC. The Van Driver is responsible for delivering product to our customers in a safe and professional manner, on time and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Driving company owned and licensed vehicles within Blainville and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for safe, damage-free transportation.
• Verifying all orders at time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications.
• Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to delivery maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English & French). Employee needs to be able to communicate with the head office, outside vendors, and suppliers etc.
• Holder of active Class 5 license with a minimum of two years of truck driving experience is required.
• Clean drivers abstract/CVOR
• Current TDG/WHMIS knowledge would be considered an asset. Training given on site.
• Ability to use power loading equipment.
• Tailgate experience would be considered an asset.
• Familiar with ISO Policies and Procedures would be considered an asset.

Working/Other conditions:

• Working on-site in a dry climate-controlled warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment – company supplied. Boots supplied after 1-year.
• Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required.
• Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift.
• As an essential services provider you must be comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours.
• Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.
