Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip safety inspections.
• Deliver products to customers on assigned routes using company trucks.
• Unload goods as per customer specifications and assist loading/unloading of delivery trucks.
• Distribute shipments within the warehouse; pick orders and process outgoing shipments to retailers, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain shipping logs and related paperwork; ensure accurate filing.
• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and shipping carts.
• Pack/unpack goods for shipping and receiving.

Job Description

• This role includes duties as both a warehouse associate, as well as a delivery driver.
• Conduct pre-trip safety inspections of the vehicle before operation.
• Deliver product to customers on assigned routes using Long & McQuade trucks.
• Unload goods as per customer specifications
• Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the warehouse
• Pick orders and process outgoing shipments to retailers, customers, and suppliers.
• Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork
• Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving
• Use of forklifts, pallet trucks and shipping carts
• This is a physical job that requires lifting and moving merchandise for the duration of a shift.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience
• Comfortable driving large 5-ton box trucks (32 feet in length)
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
