Job summary

Imperial Brady Canada is seeking a Straight Truck Driver to deliver products in Sherbrooke and surrounding areas. The role requires loading and unloading stock, verifying orders at delivery, and maintaining vehicle condition.

The candidate should be bilingual (English and French), hold a Class 3 license with at least two years of driving experience, and have a clean driving record. TDG/WHMIS knowledge is a plus and basic paperwork completion is expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English & French) for customer communication.
• Holder of active Class 3 license with minimum 2 years truck driving experience.
• Clean driving abstract/CVOR.
• TDG/WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to use power loading equipment.
• Tailgate experience is an asset.
• Familiar with ISO policies and procedures is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive company owned and licensed vehicles within Sherbrooke and surrounding areas.

Superior Sany Solutions, a division of Imperial Brady Canada, has a job open in Sherbrooke. The Straight Truck Driver is responsible for delivering product to our customers in a safe and professional manner, on time and accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Driving company owned and licensed vehicles within Sherbrooke and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for safe, damage-free transportation.
• Verifying all orders at time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications.
• Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to delivery maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English & French). Employee needs to be able to communicate with customers.

Working/Other Conditions:

• Working on-site in a dry climate-controlled warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment – company supplied.
• Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required.
• Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift.
• As an essential services provider you must be comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours.
