Job summary

Dickie Moore is seeking a driver to make deliveries and pickups across Greater Montreal and surrounding areas. You will assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and ensure equipment quality at handover.

You must maintain accurate logs, count goods, and adhere to safety standards. Fluency in French/English is preferred to coordinate with suppliers and partners in Quebec and interprovincial exchanges.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License Class 1 is required.
• Experience as a driver is required.
• Ability to work physically is required.
• Candidate must have a clean driving record.
• Focused on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and pickups across Greater Montreal as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks at customer sites.
• Count goods and verify quantities.
• Complete Drivers Run Log accurately.
• Manually load and unload equipment when needed.
• Ensure equipment quality and condition.

Job description

• Make deliveries and pick up equipment according to our customer orders and on the whole territory of Greater Montreal as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks at the customer site.
• Proceed with the counting of the goods.
• Fulfill Drivers Run Log.
• Manually load and unload equipment.
• Ensure the quality of the equipment.
• Inspect his truck at each shift start and complete an evaluation report to ensure it meets all safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License Class 1.
• Experience as a driver.
• Ability to work physically.
• Pocess a clean driving record.
• Focused on Customer Service.

Written and spoken in French and English (as some of our suppliers are not native to Quebec, and some interprovince exchanges can occur).
