Job summary

Guide Valve Limited in Calgary, Alberta seeks an experienced Technical Outside Sales Representative to support growth across Western Canada. You will promote engineered valve and flow control products, develop new accounts, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical outside sales within the oil and gas sector, strong knowledge of valves, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven technical outside sales experience in industrial valves/oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of valve applications and flow control products.
• Proven success in developing new business and managing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Western Canada.
• Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue new accounts.
• Develop relationships with oil & gas operators, EPC firms, and engineering consultants.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to quotation, negotiation, and closing.
• Represent Guide Valve Limited at industry events and customer meetings.
