Tundra Process Solutions in Fort St. John, BC is seeking a Field Valve Technician Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on field servicing and repair of various valves, with in-house support for manifolds and actuators.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in oil and gas, strong client communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Local applicants or those willing to relocate preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Strong communication with clients via phone or email.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to relocate to Fort St. John if not local.
• Experience with pressure testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves.
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves.
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components.
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves.
• Assist Lead with Tundra Service Truck, including maintenance, upkeep and paperwork.
• Operate Forklift as required.

The Opportunity

Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a Field Valve Technician Assistant based out of our Fort St. John Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.

The Role

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
• Assistant to Lead with Tundra Service Truck - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork
• Forklift Operations

The Candidate

• At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Lives Tundra Core Values
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be local to the Fort St.John area or willing to relocate

Compensation

$22-28 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
