Job summary

Tundra Process Solutions in Fort St John is seeking a Lead Valve Technician to service and repair a range of valves for oil and gas clients. The role involves field servicing, on-site and remote troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.

The candidate should have 2+ years in oil and gas, forklift ticket, hoisting and rigging training, a Class 5 driver license, and be local or willing to relocate. Tundra offers competitive pay and benefits, plus training partnerships with Wajax.

Qualifications

• 2+ years oil & gas field experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with pressure testing is preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket.
• Experience and training in hoisting and rigging.
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract.
• Local to Fort St John or willing to relocate.

The Role

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
• On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
• Pressure Testing
• Forklift Operations

The Candidate

• At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be local to the Fort St John area or willing to relocate

Compensation

$33-43 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
