Job summary

Tundra Process Solutions is seeking a Field Valve Technician Assistant based at our Fort St. John branch. You will support field servicing, repairs, and inspections of valves with the lead technician, and assist with paperwork and equipment handling.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Oil & Gas, a valid forklift ticket, and training in hoisting/rigging. Local or willing to relocate to Fort St. John is required. Compensation is $22-28 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Oil & Gas sector or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone or email.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Field servicing of valves (Ball and Gate).
• Repairs and inspections of choke and control valves.
• Repair of ESD valves and components.
• In-house repairs to manifolds, actuators and ANSI valves.
• Assist Lead with service truck duties and paperwork.
• Forklift operations.

Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a Field Valve Technician Assistant based out of our Fort St. John Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.

The Role

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components
• In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
• Assistant to Lead with Tundra Service Truck - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork
• Forklift Operations

The Candidate

• At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be local to the Fort St.John area or willing to relocate

Compensation

$22-28 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
