Job summary

Emerson in Brantford, Ontario seeks a Valve Assembler to join the Operations team. You will assemble manifolds and valves, follow documented procedures, read engineering drawings, and operate test equipment in a collaborative environment.

You will be comfortable with standing or sitting for extended periods, possess a high school diploma, and be mechanically inclined with a willingness to work overtime and undergo a background check. Training and safety are emphasized.

Based in our Brantford, ON location, as an integral part of the Operations team the Valve Assembler will support our operation in a cross-functional setting. This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Assemble/build manifolds, valves, and related products.
• Properly follow work instructions and procedures, written and verbal.
• Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings.
• Operate product test equipment.
• Operate power tools, drills, impact gun and manual hand tools. Use assembly jigs and any other tools and equipment that may be necessary.
• Prepare name plates, Mylar labels, print I&M sheets.
• Other related duties as assigned.
