Job summary

BDO London is seeking a Financial Analyst, Valuations & Modelling to join the Financial Advisory Services team. This is a replacement role with responsibilities spanning discussions with management, cash-flow risk analysis, valuation modeling, and draft reports.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, 1–2 years in accounting or M&A, strong Excel, and a willingness to pursue CBV designation; CPA is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or M&A.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Willingness to pursue CBV designation; CPA asset.

Responsibilities

• Take part in discussions with management of involved companies.
• Analyze company and industry factors to assess cash flow risks.
• Participate in valuation modeling with the team.
• Draft detailed valuation reports and presentations to management.
• Develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Communicate with the valuation Practice Leader on file execution and initiatives.
• Develop understanding of business development activities for future career development.
