Job summary

BDO Canada’s Toronto office is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Valuations & Modelling team from January to April 2027. You will assist in the preparation of financial models used for valuation and in the creation of detailed valuation reports and presentations to management.

This role emphasizes client service, teamwork, and professional growth toward CPA and CBV designations, with exposure to market data, research, and multiple engagements to build your experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accounting-focused post-secondary program intending to pursue the CPA designation.
• Interest in pursuing valuations and the CBV designation.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial models used for valuation.
• Assist in preparing detailed valuation reports and presentations to management.
• Participate in discussions with management of the companies involved.
• Analyze company and industry factors affecting cash flow risks.
• Research market data and multiples for valuation purposes.
• Manage multiple engagements to ensure timely client deliverables.
