Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is hiring a Parking Attendant to support operations at a downtown Halifax hospital location. You will greet guests, assist with parking, and ensure vehicles are securely handled while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following safety protocols.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, outdoor work in all weather, and valid Class 5 driving, with paid training and paid breaks included in benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Valet experience considered an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid Canadian Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles in tight and confined spaces.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely park and retrieve customer vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before taking custody of vehicles.
• Issue and collect valet tickets.
• Ensure keys are stored securely and vehicles are properly locked.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide directions and answer customer questions.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
