Job summary

Indigo Park is seeking an on-site Supervisor / VG Site Lead to oversee daily parking operations at the Victoria General site, lead staff, and enforce policies. You will manage schedules, performance reviews, and client relations, while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role requires at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in varying conditions. Scheduled 7 AM–4 PM, with occasional after-hours and weekend callbacks paid.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisor or leadership role.
• Administrative background with experience using Microsoft Office is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors when required.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment repairs when needed.
• Reliable transportation.

What Would You Be Doing?

Operations

• Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the Victoria General site, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
• Oversee the daily operations of all aspects of the parking lots.
• Manage team schedules and on-site operations for all parking staff.( Assist field staff during peak periods)
• Patrol and inspect the parking area daily to verify that all equipment functions properly, that cars circulate without problems, and that there is a sufficient quantity of supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the parking lot.
• Complete minor equipment repairs as required, minimizing any downtime to parking operations.
• Enforce parking policies, direct staff to issue warnings/ tickets when necessary.
• Actively identify and address any inefficiencies in the parking operation.
• Provide direction and coaching to location staff.
• Assign work and direct activities for location staff.

Administration

• Verify all employee time punches by using the ADP portal
• Attend Operations meetings
• Ensure that all operational policies/procedures are being followed at your location
• Ensure that all money handling procedures are properly documented in Operations Manuals, and are followed by cashiers and attendants
• Ensure that all cashiers/attendants and valets are properly stocked for inventory
• Assist Area Manager with client relations
• Assist Area Manager with field staff performance reviews

Human Resources

• Take certain disciplinary measures with field staff (with involvement by Area Manager)
• Replace field staff in case of illness or other
• Communicate with Area Manager when there is a need to make a staffing change, or hire additional staff

What Are We Looking For?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience being in a supervisor, or leadership role.
• Administrative background with experience using Microsoft Office is an asset.

What we offer

• The Supervisor /VG Site Lead will have a regular schedule of 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday.
• Paid lunch
• Additional hours are required as operations dictate.
• Participation in the after-hours and weekend callbacks program (which is paid) is required on a rotating schedule.
