Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is seeking a friendly valet attendant to greet patients, visitors, and healthcare staff at Halifax hospital locations. You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, provide directions, and ensure secure handling of keys in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, with paid training and a uniform provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Valet experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Valid Canadian Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
• Experience driving manual transmission is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Safely park and retrieve customer vehicles
• Conduct vehicle inspections before taking custody of vehicles
• Issue and collect valet tickets
• Ensure keys are stored securely and vehicles are properly locked
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Provide directions and answer customer questions
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when required
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
