Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Vacuum Truck Operator to join the Vacuum Truck Services team. You will perform hydro excavating, line flushing, water hauling and related duties with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and professionalism.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, maintaining logs, and delivering exceptional service to clients. Requires Class 1/3 license, industrial truck experience, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Industrial vacuum truck and hydro-excavating experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a safety-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding tasks.
• Maintain detailed, accurate transportation documentation.
• Professionally represent GFL and provide exceptional service to all clients.
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and logs for safety and service schedules.
• Participate in GFL's safety programs including safety meetings, risk assessments and job hazard assessments.

The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include (but are not limited to): hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism and teamwork.

• Participate in GFL's safety programs including: safety meetings, last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments

Requirements:

• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Industrial vacuum truck and hydro-excavating experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting
