Job summary

FairShare Vacation Rental Property Management in Canmore, Alberta, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and inspection operations across our vacation rental portfolio. You will schedule staff and contractors, manage supplies, and ensure every property is guest-ready on time.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple schedules and priorities.
• High level of English language proficiency, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or a supervisory role is essential.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with staff, contractors, and the accounts team.
• Hands-on, team-first attitude — willing to pitch in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule in-house housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Schedule cleans for contract cleaning companies.
• Schedule quality inspectors.
• Manage supplies for housekeeping and maintenance, including inventory, purchasing, and liaising with accounts to ensure bills are paid.
• Manage physical operational space and fleet.
• Monitor operations staff and adjust schedules as workflow requires.
• Oversee relationships and billing for contracted cleaners and in-house staff.
• Coordinate linen deliveries and completion of cleans with contract cleaners.
• Organize external contractors for maintenance and emergencies.
• Review billing from contractors and forward to accounts.
• Assist with payroll and recruitment.
• Oversee in-house laundry to meet operational needs and participate in staff recruitment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and property audits.
• Manage fleet and physical space in the facility.
