Job description
Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

We’re looking for a hands‑on UX designer with 3‑5 years of experience who thrives at understanding design needs and creating elegant and accessible design solutions. If you’re driven by curiosity, energized by complex challenges, and passionate about creating better user experiences, we’d love to have you on our team.

In this role, you’ll contribute to our overall design strategy, conduct research to pull out essential insights, and build intuitive product interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define problems, deliver solutions, and ensure our tools are usable, inclusive, and impactful. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with senior design team members to develop your skills and grow your craft.

What you will do
  • Conduct user research and usability tests and synthesize data to inform design next steps
  • Participate in workshops with Product and Engineering teams to align on problems, scope, and success metrics
  • Produce high‑fidelity mocks and interactive prototypes and ensure successful hand‑off to Engineering teams with red‑line specs
  • Balance usability, accessibility, and technical constraints through iterative design‑dev reviews
  • Advocate for user‑centered design principles and best practices throughout decision‑making processes
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system by adding, updating, and documenting components
  • Present work at design reviews and provide feedback to other design team members
What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent work/portfolio experience
  • 3‑5 years of UX/digital product design experience, with examples of shipped SaaS or B2B design work
  • Portfolio showing strategic problem‑solving skills and experience with the full human centered design process (including research and interaction design)
  • Experience creating user flows and prototypes in a complex product environment
  • Expertise of qualitative & quantitative research, information architecture, and usability best practices
  • Strong proficiency with Figma and common research & accessibility tools
  • Strong understanding of product strategy with experience aligning design decisions with product goals, identifying user and business opportunities, and evaluating impact through relevant metrics and added business value
  • Ability to iterate based on feedback and an understanding of constraints and trade‑offs
  • Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration
Providing you with the support you need to be at your best
