Utility Technician II Overview

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is currently inviting applications for the full-time position of Utility Technician II to ensure the efficient and continuous supply and treatment of potable water to the SCRD, and the efficient and effective treatment of the SCRD’s sanitary sewer systems. Work is performed to ensure that service delivery meets the expectations of internal and external customers, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and license requirements. Compensation and Benefits

If so, we thank you for your service, and we demonstrate our appreciation by enhancing your initial annual vacation entitlement, which starts at three weeks, upon hire. The Utility Technician II is a bargaining unit position with a wage rate of $43.58 per hour, working 37.5 hours per week. A relocation allowance up to $3,000 may be available, depending upon the location of the applicant. A combination of experience and skills may be considered, with the possibility of a training opportunity, as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
