GardaWorld is hiring a Utility Plant Security Guard in Coronach, Saskatchewan. The role focuses on sharp observation to spot threats and manage visitors across multiple site environments.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a Saskatchewan security license.
• First aid certification an asset.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient with phone and computer skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Full Saskatchewan driving license.
• Be able to produce a clear driving abstract.
• Be able to work rotational shifts.
• 3–6 months of security experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PPE inspection of visitors.
• Engage with visitors, contractors, summer students, guests of the main building.
• Conduct visitor’s site orientation.
• Answer incoming calls.
• Remotely investigate alarm breaks and health and safety concerns.
• Complete incident reports (alarm breaks and health/safety concerns).
• Contact plant staff and report emergencies.
• Communicate with reporting software and MS Office.
• Use corporate vehicle.
• Triage incidents.
• Conduct access control.

As a Utility Plant Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalates in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
