Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. in Ashcroft, BC is seeking a Utility Operator to run the IG Machine & Fibers production line. You will feed materials, monitor equipment, resolve line stoppages, and verify finished products match quality specs.

The role requires safety adherence, ability to operate a counterbalance forklift, and readiness to work in a heavy-industrial setting. Strong English communication and physical stamina are important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Fluent in English (Reading, Writing and Speaking).

Responsibilities

• Operate production line safely and efficiently.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products per specs.
• Resolve line stoppages and clear equipment jams.

People like you!**Job Description** ## **Utility Operator 1**## ## **Job Summary**## Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role will be responsible for running the production line for IG Machine & Fibers Ltd. at the Ashcroft production facility. This includes operating machinery, ensuring that raw materials are fed properly through the manufacturing process, resolving line stoppages, clearing equipment jams, verifying finished products against quality specifications, and ensuring that products are properly prepared for shipment.## ## **Plant Description**## IG Machine & Fibers Ltd.
