Job summary

CNUC of Canada, a division of Wright Canada Holdings, invites applications for a Utility Forestry Technician. This full-time role focuses on identifying and reporting vegetation along power line corridors, consulting with landowners, and ensuring safety and compliance in field operations across Canada.

Ideal candidates hold forestry-related diplomas or a BSc in Forestry, possess a valid driver’s license, and can pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Diploma in forestry or related field or BSc in Forestry.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Experience with vegetation management near utility corridors is a plus.
• Strong communication and safety orientation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and report trees and brush along power line corridors.
• Consult with landowners and stakeholders for access and approvals.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and ensure client requirements are met.
• Coordinate access, safety, and compliance at work sites.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
