Job summary

CNUC of Canada is seeking a Utility Forestry Technician to identify, inspect and report trees along power line corridors. This full-time role reports to the Regional Supervisor and requires coordination with landowners and stakeholders to secure access and ensure safety.

The position offers year-round employment with a 4-on/3-off schedule, paid at $250–$300 per day, and includes benefits and opportunities within Wright Canada Holdings’ family of companies.

Qualifications

• Diplomas or degree in forestry/resource management.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect and report trees and brush along power line corridors.
• Consult with landowners and stakeholders for access and consent.
• Perform QA/QC auditing and inspections per client requirements.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Carry and maintain materials, tools and equipment at the work site.
