Technical Safety BC seeks a User Research Analyst to lead client research and discovery for a major transformation. You will recruit participants, run focus groups and interviews, analyze findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for product and IT teams.
You'll collaborate with a cross-functional project team, design research approaches, synthesize patterns and share insights to help stakeholders understand user needs and friction points as changes roll out.
You know how to ask the right questions, get people talking and turn what you hear into insights that help teams make better decisions.
Smart, Savvy + Associates is pleased to partner with Technical Safety BC in their search for a User Research Analyst.
In this newly created role, you'll lead client research and discovery for one of Technical Safety BC’s largest business transformation initiatives. You'll recruit clients to participate in research, lead focus groups and one-on-one conversations, analyze what you learn and bring those insights back to the teams designing and rolling out changes.
This is a hands-on research role. You'll be embedded within the project team and trusted to run discovery independently, from determining who you need to hear from and how to reach them to asking the right questions, recognizing patterns and determining when you have enough information to make a recommendation.
The work will help Technical Safety BC understand how changes are landing with clients, what's working, where there's friction and what may need to change before moving forward.
Compensation: $49.09/hour, approximately $102,100 annually
Vacation: Three weeks per year
Travel: Infrequent travel within BC
If you're an experienced researcher who enjoys getting close to the people affected by change, asking the questions that uncover what's really happening and turning those conversations into insights teams can act on, we'd love to hear from you.
