Description

The Opportunity

Technical Safety BC (TSBC) is looking for a Growth Product Leader to identify and scale opportunities that increase participation in the safety system, strengthen compliant behaviour and create sustainable revenue in support of our safety mandate. This role brings together product leadership, growth strategy, market insight and behavioural thinking in understanding how individuals and businesses participate in the safety system, what drives them to comply, disengage or operate outside of it.

A key focus will be taking an innovative, market-based approach to addressing the underground economy by understanding the behaviours and market dynamics that drive non-participation and non-compliance, developing targeted strategies to influence behaviour, sustain participation, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Success in this role requires the ability to balance market and client needs with TSBC’s public-interest and regulatory mandate. The ideal candidate is commercially minded and entrepreneurial, but equally motivated by creating safer outcomes and improving the effectiveness of the safety system.

  • Partner with go-to-market teams to increase market participation, drive adoption, reduce churn, and expand customer subscriptions to grow the customer base.
  • Utilize client, industry, market and internal research and analysis to identify client needs, safety needs, business needs, and market opportunities. Build product ideas and advocate for product design that improves safety outcomes and client experience sustainably.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and results effectively to both internal stakeholders and leadership, facilitating alignment and transparency.
