Midland Transport Limited is seeking a Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver who can operate from Ontario to the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and through the Maritimes. The driver will run long-haul routes, adhere to safety standards, and support timely freight delivery across multiple regions.

Shifts vary across days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, RRSP matching, and vacation time.

Qualifications

• High School or GED completed.
• Class 1 driver’s license with North America experience.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• FAST card eligibility and U.S. border crossing ability.

Responsibilities

• Running Linehaul between the Maritimes, United States eastern seaboard, and Ontario/Quebec.
• Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment safely.
• Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
• Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with safety regulations and company rules.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all truck operations.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
• Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.

Midland Transport Limitedis currently seekingprofessional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver.The Driver can be based out of Concord, Cambridge and Brampton, Ontario.

As a Linehaul Driver, you'll run longhaul routes from Ontario, U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and through the Maritimes back through Ontario/Quebec. while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.

Schedule: Run starts Saturday, takes around five days to complete.

• Canadian miles: $0.620 per mile.
• USA miles paid in CAD: $0.647 per mile.

• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
• Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Education Required: High School or GED.
• Class1 driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
• Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
• Eligibility to cross the border with US.
• Familiarity with satellite systems.
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
• Safety conscious.
• Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
