Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Canada is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Level 1, 2 or 3) to join our team. You will contribute to a nurturing program within the Busy Bees community and help children grow in a supportive setting.

You will collaborate with families and staff to implement BrightPath’s curriculum, maintain a clean, safe classroom, and participate in ongoing professional development. This full-time role offers benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 1/2/3 certification or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Meets provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an age-appropriate program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized classroom environment.
• Assess children's abilities and progress; communicate with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as required.
• Support classroom materials and housekeeping to maintain order.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Early Childhood Educator - Level 1, 2 or 3

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
