Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Alberta is seeking a Unit Clerk to support Unit 28 – Surgery at Sturgeon Community Hospital. You will manage the flow of information between health professionals, patients and families, while protecting patient confidentiality and accuracy of records.

You will perform reception duties, greet visitors, transcribe and process physician orders, schedule tests and treatments, and carry out a range of administrative tasks to keep the unit running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Responsibilities
