Job summary

iA Financial Group in Toronto is seeking an experienced Group Insurance Underwriter to evaluate risks, support sales, and drive profitability in a collaborative, innovative environment.

You will prepare quotations, renewal pricing, and modifications; participate in client presentations; mentor junior underwriters; and work with the Group Underwriting Manager to improve tools and processes. This hybrid role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities across Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of group insurance underwriting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Advanced level of French proficiency is an asset, as the incumbent could be required to prepare and review group insurance quotations, participate in renewal presentations, communicate with French speaking clients, advisors, and business partners, and collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis.
