Job summary

SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is recruiting for an Operator, Truck to support ore and waste rock transport. The role reports to the Supervisor, Mine Operations and may involve production duties.

We seek candidates with at least two years in hard rock underground mining, preferably with haulage truck experience; scoop tram skills and rescue training are assets. Work is two weeks on/off at a remote camp in northern Saskatchewan with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a hard rock underground mining operation.
• Preference for experience on mine haulage trucks.
• Experience with manual and remote scoop tram is an asset.
• Previous mine rescue training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate 30- and 40-ton trucks.
• Operate 2,4,6,8-yard scoops.
• Knowledge of scaling procedures.
• Familiar with underground emergency procedures.
