Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. Seabee Gold Operation is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic to provide mechanical support for surface and underground equipment at our Saskatchewan mine site.

You will troubleshoot, repair and overhaul light and heavy equipment, following safety and environmental standards. The role requires a Journeyperson Automotive Certificate with a minimum of five years’ experience, and the ability to work in a remote camp with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off FIFO schedule from Saskatoon, Prince

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Automotive Certificate is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to work in underground environments when required.
• FIFO schedule with 2 weeks on/2 weeks off from remote camp.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul surface and underground mechanical equipment.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Diagnose faults and plan corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Lead and train other mechanics as needed and coordinate with other departments.
