Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead an underground upgrade project at a mine site in Kamloops, BC. You will drive end-to-end execution from planning through commissioning, ensuring milestones and dependencies are managed while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

• 8+ years of project management experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing small-to-mid-sized capital projects with high operational impact.
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management and execution of complex underground projects within an active mining environment, from planning and design through construction and commissioning.
• Maintain full ownership of project schedule, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are actively managed.
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, external engineering consultants, and contractors to drive execution.
• Work alongside supply chain to support procurement planning, bid evaluations, and contract management.
• Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with site standards.
• Provide clear, concise, and timely reporting to site leadership and senior management.
