Komatsu America Corp. is seeking a Technical Service Representative–Mechanical to perform field diagnostics, commissioning and repairs on mining equipment at customer sites in Canada.

You will apply deep mechanical, hydraulic and electrical expertise with LeTourneau loaders and other equipment, traveling up to 50% to keep machines running at peak performance. The role requires a Red Seal or Millwright ticket and 4–8 years of mining equipment experience in remote environments, plus strong

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright qualification required or dual ticket preferred.
• 4–8 years’ experience maintaining, repairing and inspecting mining equipment in remote field environments.
• Experience with high‑voltage equipment and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong customer‑focused communication and a proven field service track record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and access mine sites.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment builds, commissioning and follow‑up service at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issues.
• Provide on‑site technical support across multiple product lines.
• Troubleshoot high‑voltage systems and critical machine failures.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer database entries.
• Interface with Product Support to address recurring or high‑impact issues.
• Uphold safety, housekeeping and equipment‑readiness standards.
