Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse at Meadowbank Complex in Canada. You will report to the Warehouse General Supervisor within the Maintenance Department and lead warehousing activities, ensure safety and cost controls, and support HR processes for the team.

You will manage barge unloading, inventory control, replenishment, and daily prioritization, while promoting Agnico Eagle values and health & safety standards in an Arctic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in rentals, warehousing, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to see the big picture.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and high safety standards.
• Understanding of work in the Canadian Arctic is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee barge unloading, cargo material receiving, inventory control, Backhaul, replenishment and warehousing optimization.
• Prepare the daily priority list and provide it to the Warehouse Clerks.
• Plan and organize the fuel dip monthly.
• Ensure procedures and policies for procurement and logistics are consistently applied.
• Respect budget and control costs for the department.
• Plan, organize and facilitate safety and shop meetings.
• Participate in HR functions for the team (recruitment, files, performance, discipline).
• Apply the principles of the Supervision Formula and review best practices daily.
