Job summary

Coeur Mining is seeking an Underground Maintenance Short-Term Scheduler for the Rainy River site in Ontario. The role focuses on organizing reliable maintenance for the underground fleet and collaborating with the maintenance crew and supervisor to deliver the weekly plan and daily activities.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in heavy equipment or industrial settings, with underground mining experience a plus, and proficiency in SAP/CMMS and MS Office. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in heavy equipment or industrial setting; underground mining experience is a plus.
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Able to read OEM schematics and O&M documents.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling, dispatch or planning.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS software (JD Edwards/Oracle/MIMS/Ellipse/Pronto) is an asset.
• Familiarity with Wenco Dispatch (Maintenance Monitor) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Interpret weekly maintenance schedule and coordinate with Underground Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coordinate with Underground Operations Dispatch and Operations Supervisor on timing of planned work.
• Focus on 1-day to 2-week maintenance planning and tasks.
• Manage downtime codes, statuses, and estimated up times in Maintenance Monitor.
• Create P1/P2 work orders for break-in and found work; ensure resources align with priorities.
• Coordinate parts and material requirements with Warehouse and Supply Chain.
• Close out work orders with complete information; complete shift close out reports.
