Job summary

Coeur Mining seeks an Underground Maintenance Planner to maintain and evolve the predictive and preventative maintenance program for underground equipment at the Rainy River mine in Ontario. You will manage plans in SAP, lead scheduling meetings, and improve reliability by coordinating with contractors and operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with mobile maintenance. Hybrid work and a competitive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Journeyman trades ticket is an asset.
• Experience in similar roles and knowledge of mobile maintenance.
• Experience with SAP or similar CMMS is an asset.
• Good computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Extremely organized with strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Authorized to work in Canada and able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance for underground equipment fleet (Caterpillar, Maclean, Sandvik, Kovatera, Manitou, Toyota).
• Create preventive, predictive, and regulatory maintenance plans in SAP.
• Track work order compliance and ensure monthly regulatory work is completed.
• Lead planning and scheduling meetings with maintenance teams and contractors.
• Update equipment Bill of Materials and perform parts criticality assessments.
• Review work orders and generate follow-up work orders.
• Attach completed work orders to SAP records and ensure proper charging of components.
• Support operations to improve equipment reliability with the reliability team.

Rainy River Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River mine is an open pit and underground, gold and silver producing, residential mine site. The Rainy River mine, located adjacent to the Ontario/Minnesota border is 65 kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. About The Role

Position: Underground Maintenance Planner

Position Reports To: Senior Reliability Specialist

Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Reliability Specialist, the successful applicant will be maintaining and developing the predictive/preventative maintenance program for the underground mobile equipment and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule maintenance for the underground equipment fleet, comprising of Caterpillar, Maclean, Sandvik, Kovatera, Manitou, and Toyota equipment.
• Create preventative, predictive, and regulatory maintenance plans in SAP.
• Track work order compliance and ensure all regulatory work is executed each month.
• Lead planning and scheduling meetings with maintenance Superintendents, Supervisors, and contractor work groups.
• Update equipment Bill of Materials.
• Perform parts criticality assessments and submit inventory requests for critical components.
• Review completed work order packages to create follow up work orders.
• Scan and attach completed hard copy work orders to the work orders in SAP.
• Work with contractor technicians and maintenance supervisors to ensure vendor managed inventory usage is accounted for, and components are charged to the correct units.
• Support operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Work with reliability team to ensure their concerns and action items are scheduled and executed.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman trades ticket is a definite asset.
• Expected to have experience in similar roles and knowledge of mobile maintenance disciplines.
• Previous experience with SAP or similar CMMS is a definite asset.
• Good computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is an asset.
• Proven communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be extremely organized, have good interpersonal skills, be cooperative and able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Employment is subject to successfully completing New Gold's pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada

The anticipated salary range for this position will be between $95,000 - $105,000
